Job Summary:

The primary role of an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is to sell our portfolio of products and services to new and existing clients within an assigned territory.  Main duties of the ISR include developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process.  As an ISR, you will collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to design and deliver technology solutions that enable our customers to succeed.  Whether an organization needs IT managed services, a conferencing solution, or security cameras watching their premises 24x7, you will have the training, tools, and resources to solve the most complex technology challenges.  To be successful in this role, the ISR will cultivate relationships and become the trusted technology advisor to our clients. 


  • Bachelor’s degree or associates degree with minimum 2 years’ relevant experience

  • Prospect for new customers to effectively grow your book of business
  • Listen and utilize a strategic approach to identify, evaluate, and recommend solutions considering customers’ needs
  • Sell full portfolio of IT, Audio/Visual, and Physical Security solutions to customers
  • Research current and potential customers to understand their business and educate them on the value of partnering with Avinext
  • Record all client efforts, opportunities, and communication in CRM software
  • Drive attendance to seminars and assist with marketing events as needed
  • Be responsive. Follow up on customer communications, RFP’s, and sales opportunities in a timely and effective manner
  • Pursue professional growth by acquiring knowledge, skills, and certifications relevant to position and company objectives
  • Close sales and achieve sales targets
  • Punctuality is critical; must make meetings and deliverables on-time

Time and Travel:

This is a full-time position with an average 40-hour work week.  Most work is performed Monday thru Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm inside an office with occassional day-travel required.


The ISR position is accountable to the General Manager with secondary accountability to other management and team members.
