Job Summary:
The primary role of the Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is to assist account managers with quotes, proposals, change orders, invoices, and order tracking. You will also work with the operations, accounting, and suppliers to ensure successful order management on projects. You will be responsible for preparing sales reports and performing other sales-related activities to ensure a seamless sales process and exceptional experience for our customers. This is an in-person position.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsive. Follow up on requests from customers and team members in a timely and efficient manner.
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and assist with pricing and RFP’s.
- Work closely with the operations and finance teams to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment.
- Track all sales activities in CRM system.
- Gather and analyze sales data to generate accurate monthly sales reports and performance metrics.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of companies’ products and services, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate value proposition to prospects.
- Collaborate with marketing to leverage events, campaigns, and materials to support lead generation efforts.
- Pursue professional growth by acquiring knowledge, skills, and certifications relevant to position and company objectives
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ sales or customer service experience.
- Effective communication, organization, and relationship building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- A self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset, with a passion for sales and achieving results.
- Problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations and client needs.
- Ability to plan, organize, and multitask for successful completion of activities and projects.

Hours and Location:
This is an in-person, full-time position with an average 40-hour work week. Work is generally performed Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Travel is limited.
Accountability:
The ISR position is accountable to the General Manager with secondary accountability to other management and team members.
